Canada is supporting the deployment of Source across five countries as part of a two‑year engagement aimed at strengthening infrastructure project preparation and reinforcing structured, transparent approaches to early‑stage project development.
Through this support, Source is being integrated to assist governments in integrated climate and sustainability considerations and attract private‑sector investment into well‑structured infrastructure pipelines. The initiative covers the digital infrastructure landscape in Kenya, Zambia, Jordan, the Eastern Caribbean islands (regional approach) and one country in Latin America.
Canada’s support enables the use of Source as a shared digital environment across these contexts, supporting a more consistent and comparable approach to project preparation while remaining adaptable to country specific institutional frameworks and development priorities.
The five countries were identified to reflect a range of regional and institutional contexts, allowing Source to be applied across different preparation needs while maintaining common standards for governance and project information.
Integration operations are in full-swing and SIF is very excited to leverage this excellent partnership and thank Canada for their trust and support.
