1. New dynamic indicators embedded in countries project lifecycle processes
Developed based on feedback from SOURCE Community members and the latest inputs from the private sector and PPP experts, the SOURCE update includes, within the 40 existing project development templates, the following new features:

- 782 new indicators dynamically displayed according to the project level of governance, type of initiatives, contractual arrangement and project sector, enabling governments to capture quality infrastructure investment on a cross-cutting and sectorial basis during the entire projects’ lifecycle
- 88 new tables enabling target setting during project development and monitoring of results during implementation on all key impacts and project dimensions: Governance, Technical, Economical, Financial, Social, Environmental, Climate
- 20 new tooltips (204 now in total available in SOURCE) to define technical terminologies and provide direct access to online best practices from international organisations
- 10 new consistency checks (42 now in total in SOURCE) intelligent algorithms, raising alerts when information discrepancy is detected during project development
Together with the 20+ existing international best practices and standards already digitalised in SOURCE, the countries will be empowered to consider the indicators under their national circumstances, local laws and regulations according to the project subsector of their choice.

2. Improved guidance for project implementation management and monitoring:
Developed based on feedback from the SOURCE Community members, the latest recommendation from the APMG PPP Guide and inputs from the private sector and PPP exerts, SIF included the following new features in SOURCE:
7 new themes chronologically organised in project implementation stages (Tender, Construction and Operation and Maintenance) to guide governments in the key aspects to consider for monitoring purposes and enabling data collection to measure the project impacts:

- Costs: work items, capital costs, O&M costs.
- Evaluation: evaluation of proposals
- Negotiation: pre-Award negotiation, prior conditions to contract signing
- Commercial close: contract data, management and major variations
- Financial close: conditions precedent to financial close, financial structure
- Environmental and Social: impact measurement
- Hand back: scope and contract management
447 new indicators specific for implementation are dynamically displayed according to the project tender process, contractual arrangement, sector and targets defined during preparation to guide users in the relevant data collection, monitoring process and impact evaluation comparing with objectives defined in the early stage as shown below.

The new set of guidance, data set and indicators were developed in accordance with the contract management continuous monitoring and performance from the APMG PPP Guide presented in the figure below:

Finally, SOURCE is also now available in 12 languages including Arabic, as requested by Egypt, and in Kiswahili by Tanzania.
